Global Automation (Product Development company) is visiting Oxford campus on 20^th July, 2010.

Eligibility:

1) 2010 pass out of IS, CS, EEE, EC, MCA with 60% aggregate

* CSE /ISE/MCA - Most suited for the requirements

ECE, EEE, Telecom - they can attempt, if they have the Required Skills for the position. No branches are allowed.

Min. 60% must be there in BE /MCA for participation. (60% preferably in 10th and 12th)

Date: July 20, 2010, Tuesday

Reporting Time: 8:30AM

Itinerary:

8.30am – Students report to Premises

9.00am – Introduction to the students

9.30am – Aptitude test (Online)

10.30am – Results and Algorithm Test for Selected Students

Venue: Oxford College of Engineering , Bommanahalli (2kms. Next to Silk Board Jn. / Opp. Bosch)

Successful candidate for the position of Software Engineer will be capable to:

Technical Responsibilities:

- Write program code based on software designs.

- Conduct unit tests of program code

- Develop detail designs based on architecture for individual components of the products

- Maintain code

- Identify possible solutions to specific problems in program code and recommend the best option

- Assist in system testing of the products

General Responsibilities:

- Analyze, Debug and address critical defects

- Work on critical customer issues and provide quick turnaround to solutions

- Work independently on small to medium projects; research, outline and scope in initial stages, organize and execute efforts with other team members

- Maintain expertise and stay current with new technology developments in the industry

Required Skills:

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science

- Proficient in C language and extensive experience working with C language

- Knowledge of networking concepts necessary

- Good technical and analytical skills

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Must be a self-starter

- Edge on in product development teams preferred

The following is the recruitment procedure; (all are elimination rounds)

Online Aptitude test – 1 hour

Algorithm written test – 1 hour

The above will be conducted on the same day at Oxford campus. The following tests will be at Global Automation company office;

Online Coding Skill Test – 3 hours

Technical Interview

HR Interview

On Induction;

6 months – Training (Class room and Projects)

Post 6 months – Induction into respective teams.

All the eligible candidates, if interested, are requested to come to Oxford College Placement Dept. compulsorily, to register their names in the Candidate Format, as prescribed by the company.
